Thinking outside the box and a personal and memorable wedding
From the beginning that I am a bit ‘against the hotel or banquet hall large defect on Saturday evening with a cocktail dinner, hors d’oeuvre reception before sitting to say in part. I never really liked sitting at a table (sometimes with people who do not know) and not get stuck in all night waiting for a banquet server, which is active at night, get on my plate in front of me. Or ask the people at the table for me, can pass the salad dressing or butter, I do not get, and who sits on the opposite side of the table. I really do not enjoy the pleasure that I used another banal “rubber chicken” or dry salmon meal, or a low “vegetable medley” boiled or cooked (read cheap vegetables, what the kitchen has in hand).
From my point of view, when guests talk about value, we give a gift to our loved ones.
If the party is a wedding, it creates a nice, once in a celebration of life to which we and our customers want to have a great memory. The thought must be put in the details of the party. What kind of foods that I love and really my guests? How do I create fun and memorable entertainment for them? What do you want for those few hours that we do to celebrate? Safety tip-do not get caught in a chair in an anonymous hotel rooms or crowded banquet room. I like to walk around the room to see many other guests, and eat good food. Well, so I know no one comes to your wedding just for food, as it once was a young bride says to me, but people are talking about your wedding in the coming years, if the food is exceptional or particularly bad.
Put a little ‘creative thinking in planning a celebration you and your guests will really love without doubt one day lead to customized. A sandwich lunch, dinner or coffee and dessert reception, a picnic wedding can still be deliciously elegant and everything. These structures often saves money. For example, the cost of food for lunch, tea or picnic, usually less than that for dinner, and because most people drink less alcohol in the afternoon and evening, you’ll save cash costs. I remember as a young man at a wedding in the afternoon big picnic in a park, where guests were entertained, sitting at picnic tables and blankets on the grass, with great music and street theater that reflects the interest in art and the taste of the bride. And another, slightly larger as a woman, a winery in Sonoma County, with panoramic views, where guests had a choice between big box lunches available to enjoy what you taste the wines, decadent chocolate truffle cake (I a gift for the couple) for dessert.
I attend a wedding in June in the courtyard, where the young couple decided, a pizza station, with several different items, delicious addition to your dinner buffet. Instead of a wedding cake than a brownie and ice cream bars, had 4 different types of biscuits and a selection of delicious sauces and toppings for ice cream. I had a shot at seeing the bride as he had created the sample and the comparison of each type of cookie with ice cream of various enjoyed it. I have weddings in the past, where couples have opted for Western food, as well as integrating stations visited their ethnic foods, such as Korean, Chinese and Japanese. We decorated the station with large colorful fans bought in Chinatown.
I remembered all these weddings with many warm thoughts to sit down banquets jam I’ve ever attended. So some thoughts on his personal stamp put on their wedding party and your guests something to remember well in the coming years.
